A couple of weeks ago we were approached by a Journalist, Allan Whiting, to do a review of our campers.
His review is on his website (click on the link below). There is also a good video at the end of his article.

Tray-Tek Campers
Tray-Tek Campers design and manufacture quality slide-on campers. Our aim is to have a unit that is functional, robust and easy to set up without any fuss and is rugged enough to go out and about in comfort to see this great country of ours. Our campers only take a couple of minutes to set up and can easily be packed up/set up by one person. Tray-Tek Campers feature a unique drop down tailgate that adds extra space inside the camper and can be utilised for extra seating, change area etc.

South West Rocks, NSW
We have just returned from doing a 4x4 Show in Sydney. On the way back we spent a couple of nights at Arakoon National Park (near South West Rocks (Kempsey)) staying at the Trial Bay Gaol Campground. We were camped right on the edge of the embankment overlooking the magnificent bay. We couldn't resist rolling up the back awning and taking a photo. At the time of the photo there were gale force winds outside, but we were tucked up inside our Tailgater Plus camper looking out at this very impressive view.

Millmerran Camp Oven Festival
A few weeks ago we attended the Millmerran Camp Oven Festival. They were expecting about 1400 campers over the weekend - and it certainly looked like they met their target. There were rigs of all sizes and shapes. The weekend was quite hot but very enjoyable. The volunteers who run the Festival did a wonderful job, providing a well run and very efficient Festival.

Have just had a couple of days away and stayed at a couple of really lovely places. The Island Reach Caravan Park at Imbil on the banks of Yabba Creek once again showed us what a really special place it was - not very many people there so we had a spot close to the creek. To our surprise we were able to watch a platypus swimming up and down just below our camp - what a treat. In the morning we woke to a spectacular fog - a photographers dream!!!

We were then lucky to have a night at Lake Lenthall (near Maryborough). We arrived on a Sunday and expected a few people camping there, however, we only had day-trippers - some there for the bird watching - others just for a picnic lunch or to fish. We were the only campers.
